Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Deputy Sales Manager to lead our B2C channel sales team for solar projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team, driving revenue growth, developing channel partners, and executing sales strategies to expand market presence in the residential solar segment.

Key Responsibilities Areas (KRAs)

  1. Team Management & Performance Oversight
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Monitor team performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement improvement strategies.
  • Provide training and guidance to enhance team productivity and sales effectiveness.
  1. Sales Target & Revenue Management
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
  • Track sales metrics, analyze performance trends, and take corrective actions as needed and track pre-sales activities.
  • Ensure timely reporting of sales data, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
  1. Channel Partner Development & Strategy
  • Build strong relationships with partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and sales strategies.
  • Conduct partner training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales capabilities.
  1. Sales Strategy & Market Expansion
  • Develop and implement effective B2C sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approaches.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design promotional campaigns and lead-generation initiatives.
  1. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and improving service delivery.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, finance) to streamline sales processes.
  1. Reporting and Data management
  •       Maintain CRM and ensure data accuracy for reporting.
  •       Generate KPI reports and create business presentations for stakeholders.
  •       Monitor and optimize team performance metrics to improve conversion rates.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: 10 years in B2C sales, preferably in solar/renewable energy, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.

Soft Skills:

  •       Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  •       Proven track record in channel sales and partner development.
  •       Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  •       Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis (CRM, Excel, etc.).
  •       Knowledge of solar products and the renewable energy market is preferred.
