The Social Changemakers Award given to Innovel at the 7th Edition of the ASSOCHAM Energy Meet & Excellence Awards 2026 highlights our commitment towards the availability of clean energy in India.
With the theme “Viksit Bengal for Viksit Bharat”, the meet provided a platform for deliberations on future sustainable growth and development of West Bengal by policymakers and professionals associated with renewable energy. It was very clear from the deliberations that renewable energy is no longer a side issue but an integral part of India’s growth story.
Recognition Built on Meaningful Work
This recognition has been awarded to our firm for our contribution to PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana as well as for helping in promoting the use of commercial and industrial solar energy in the country.
We have helped people living in houses as well as working in commercial establishments, industries, and institutions over the years in using renewable energy as an alternative means of energy which is reliable and feasible. Today, we are happy to say that we have achieved over 2.5 lakh installations of solar energy systems. Our installations do not end there; they mean a lot more than that for us.
A Shared Vision for Sustainable Growth
This ASSOCHAM Energy Meet dealt with the issue of enhancing the status of West Bengal as an industrial/business hub through renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, and policies that support the same.
This programme had the presence of honourable ministers-in-Charge from the state government of West Bengal such as Shri Dipak Barman, Minister-in-charge. Department of School Education, Government of West Bengal, and Shri Ashok Dinda, Hon’ble Minister of State for Agriculture Marketing and MSME & Textiles, Government of West Bengal.
During the event, Shri Dipak Barman informed about the state’s plans for implementing solar power systems and renewable energy technologies in government schools of West Bengal. It is worth mentioning that renewable energy helps to save money on the expenses and be environmentally responsible.
In addition, Shri Ashok Dinda underlined the necessity of creating an atmosphere that would contribute to the process of investments and entrepreneurship.
