Job Summary:
Looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive to drive business growth through lead generation, client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue generation. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, conducting sales presentations, negotiating deals, and achieving sales targets. Candidates should possess strong communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills with experience in B2B, B2C, industrial, engineering, manufacturing, services, or project sales environments.
Key Responsibilities Areas (KRAs)
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and prospecting activities.
- Convert and onboard company-provided leads, while generating new business opportunities through personal contacts, referrals, and networking efforts.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify potential opportunities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or services.
- Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and sales presentations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular engagement and support.
- Develop long-term relationships to drive repeat business and customer retention.
3. Sales Negotiation & Closure
- Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotations, and pricing structures.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service agreements with customers.
- Follow up on leads, proposals, and pending opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
- Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Ensure timely collection of customer documentation and order confirmations.
4. Market Expansion & Revenue Growth
- Explore new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
- Support business expansion initiatives through strategic customer acquisition efforts.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute lead generation and promotional campaigns.
- Contribute to revenue growth by maximizing customer engagement and sales effectiveness.
5. Sales Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline updates in CRM systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and performance updates.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions when required.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, logistics, and customer support teams for seamless order execution.
- Ensure adherence to company sales processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
6. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Operations, Finance, Customer Support, and Management.
- Provide customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence to leadership.
- Support strategic sales initiatives and business development projects.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred).
