Supply Chain Management

Job Summary:

Looking for an experienced SCM Executive to manage end-to-end supply chain operations, procurement coordination, vendor management, inventory control, logistics planning, and material availability across business functions. The role focuses on ensuring timely procurement, optimizing inventory levels, improving supply chain efficiency, and supporting project and operational requirements. Candidates should have strong analytical, coordination, and negotiation skills with experience in procurement, supply chain planning, inventory management, and logistics operations. 

Key Responsibilities Areas (KRAs)

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Execute procurement activities for materials, equipment, services, and project requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors in line with organizational procurement policies.
• Obtain quotations, conduct comparative analysis, and support commercial evaluations.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of purchase orders.
• Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure uninterrupted supply and cost competitiveness.

2. Supply Chain Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and procurement schedules.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to support project execution and operational activities.
• Track procurement status and proactively address supply chain bottlenecks.
• Support demand forecasting and procurement planning activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, warehouses, and project teams for smooth material flow.

3. Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
• Support inventory planning, stock reconciliation, and material utilization tracking.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams for material receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch activities.
• Minimize stock shortages, excess inventory, and obsolete materials.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and documentation.

4. Logistics & Material Movement

• Coordinate transportation, shipment tracking, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely movement of materials between suppliers, warehouses, and project sites.
• Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Handle shipment-related documentation and coordination with transport vendors.
• Resolve logistics-related issues impacting project timelines or operational requirements.

5. SCM Operations & Process Excellence

• Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, contracts, GRNs, and vendor documentation.
• Prepare MIS reports related to procurement, inventory, vendor performance, and logistics activities.
• Support implementation of SCM SOPs, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
